When we work with technology, we often fall into the recurring illusion of believing that systems are solid: as long as the system responds, users do not complain, and alerts remain silent, a comfortable sense of stability takes hold. An IT solution that works is one that doesn't generate problems, right? Well, then no IT solution works because the only certainty that exists is that if an IT solution is used, sooner or later, problems will occur.
